Aquatic Bliss Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from Aquatic Bliss. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. General
We aim to provide healthy, well-established fish and accurate product descriptions at all times. As livestock are living animals, natural variation in size, colour, pattern, and behaviour may occur.
2. Livestock Sales
All livestock is sold in good faith and checked for health and condition prior to dispatch or collection.
Because fish are live animals:
- appearance, colouration, and behaviour may vary slightly;
- individual fish may differ from photographs shown for illustration purposes;
- minor cosmetic imperfections may occur without affecting the overall health or quality of the fish.
3. Availability
All livestock and products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to remove, amend, or withdraw listings at any time without prior notice.
4. Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
Aquatic Bliss reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where:
- stock is no longer available;
- weather or transport conditions are unsuitable for safe dispatch;
- we believe the aquarium setup may not be suitable for the fish ordered;
- incorrect pricing or listing errors have occurred;
- we suspect misuse, fraud, or any issue affecting welfare or safe supply.
If an order is cancelled before dispatch, any payment taken for unavailable items will be refunded.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated. Payment must be received in full before any order is prepared for dispatch or collection.
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time, but price changes will not affect completed orders already accepted by us.
6. Delivery & Shipping
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that:
- all delivery details provided are correct;
- someone is available to receive the parcel on the first delivery attempt;
- the shipment is opened and inspected immediately on arrival.
We are not responsible for issues arising from courier delays, failed delivery attempts, missed deliveries, parcels left unattended, or incorrect address information supplied by the customer.
7. Dispatch of Live Fish
Fish are only dispatched when we believe they are feeding, stable, and fit for travel. We may delay shipment where necessary to protect livestock welfare, including during unsuitable weather or transport disruption.
8. Arrival Responsibility
Customers must inspect all livestock immediately upon delivery. Any concern relating to arrival condition must be reported as soon as possible and within the timeframe stated in our DOA / Arrival Policy.
Claims may be refused where reporting requirements are not followed or where sufficient evidence is not provided.
9. Care Responsibility After Arrival
Once fish have been successfully delivered and acclimated, their ongoing care becomes the responsibility of the buyer.
We cannot be held responsible for issues arising after arrival due to factors outside our control, including:
- water quality or parameter differences;
- incorrect acclimation;
- aggression from tank mates;
- temperature fluctuation;
- environmental stress;
- incompatible stocking or unsuitable aquarium conditions.
10. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of live fish, we do not accept routine returns of livestock.
Refunds, replacements, or other resolutions are considered only in line with our DOA / Arrival Policy and any applicable statutory rights.
Postage costs are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
11. Non-Livestock Items
Any dry goods, equipment, or non-livestock items sold by Aquatic Bliss may be subject to separate return conditions where applicable. Items must be returned unused and in resaleable condition unless faulty.
12. Product Information & Advice
Any care information, compatibility guidance, or recommendations provided by Aquatic Bliss are given in good faith based on the information available at the time. It remains the buyer’s responsibility to ensure their setup is suitable before purchase.
13. Communications
We aim to respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible. Customers are encouraged to contact us before purchasing if they are unsure about suitability, care, compatibility, or shipping arrangements.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aquatic Bliss shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the keeping, acclimation, or husbandry of livestock once delivered.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
15. Privacy
Any personal information submitted through our website or during the ordering process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
