Assassin Snail – Anentome helena
Assassin Snails are an attractive and highly useful addition to the freshwater aquarium, best known for helping control unwanted pest snail populations. Their striking yellow and dark brown striped shells make them easy to spot as they patrol the substrate searching for food & snails.
They will naturally feed on smaller snails, leftover meaty foods and sinking pellets, helping to keep the aquarium clean without damaging healthy aquatic plants. Peaceful with fish and most shrimp, although very small or weak shrimp may become prey.
