Gold Laser Cory
Osteogaster sp. CW010
The Gold Laser Cory is a truly eye-catching Cory, known for the bright metallic gold stripe running along its back and its warm bronze-toned body. Under good lighting, the golden line almost glows, making a group of these fish a beautiful feature in a planted community aquarium.
Peaceful and highly social, they should be kept in a group of at least six, with larger groups bringing out their most confident and natural behaviour. A soft sand substrate is recommended, allowing them to safely sift and forage without damaging their delicate barbels.
They enjoy a well-established aquarium with plenty of open floor space, plants, wood and shaded resting areas. Feed a varied diet of quality sinking foods alongside frozen or live foods, making sure they receive their own meals rather than relying on leftovers.
