L200 Green Phantom Pleco
The Green Phantom Pleco is a striking and highly sought-after species, displaying beautiful olive-green to deep emerald colouration with pale yellow or cream spotting across the body and fins. Its bold appearance and impressive finnage make it a stunning feature fish for a spacious aquarium.
Green Phantoms originate from fast-flowing waters and require excellent filtration, strong oxygenation and consistently clean water. Provide smooth rocks, bogwood and several secure caves or shaded retreats. They are generally peaceful with other fish but can become territorial towards similar plecos, particularly around preferred hiding places.
Although they will graze on algae and biofilm, Green Phantoms require a varied diet. Offer quality sinking pleco foods, algae wafers, vegetables and occasional protein-rich foods such as insect-based pellets or frozen foods.
