Parkinson’s Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia parkinsoni)
The Parkinson’s Rainbowfish is a striking and active species, admired for its vibrant blend of orange, yellow, silver and blue tones that intensify as the fish mature. Peaceful by nature and constantly on the move, they make a stunning addition to larger community aquariums.
Best kept in groups of six or more, these social fish display their best colours and natural behaviour when housed together with other peaceful species. A spacious aquarium with plenty of swimming room, along with plants around the edges, allows them to thrive while still providing open areas for schooling.
At Aquatic Bliss, our Parkinson’s Rainbowfish are carefully selected, quarantined, and health checked before sale to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
