The Ziss ZB-300 is a highly efficient air-driven moving bed filter designed to provide excellent biological filtration while remaining simple, reliable and easy to maintain.
Inside the filter, specially designed biological media is kept constantly moving by the airflow. This continuous movement provides a large, well-oxygenated surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonise, helping efficiently process ammonia and nitrite and maintain stable water quality.
The ZB-300 is an excellent choice for breeding tanks, grow-out tanks, shrimp aquariums and heavily stocked fish systems, where dependable biological filtration and strong oxygenation are particularly important.
Unlike conventional sponge filters, the moving media is continually agitated, helping prevent clogging and reducing the amount of routine cleaning required. As the filter is air-powered, there are also no electrical components inside the aquarium.
