King Rabbit Snail (cf)
The King Rabbit Snail (cf) is a striking freshwater snail, admired for its long, rabbit-like antennae, beautifully sculptured shell, and calm, peaceful nature. Constantly grazing over wood, rocks, and glass, these fascinating snails make an excellent addition to both planted and community aquariums.
Although they will help consume algae and biofilm, their main diet should include quality sinking foods and fresh vegetables to keep them in peak condition. Their slow, inquisitive behaviour makes them a favourite among aquarists looking for something a little different.
Unlike many common snails, King Rabbit Snails reproduce slowly, giving birth to individual live young rather than laying large clusters of eggs, making them an excellent choice for those who don’t want an aquarium overrun with snails.
