Denison Barb

The Denison Barb is a spectacular, fast-swimming species renowned for its vivid red stripe, bold black markings and shimmering silver body. Peaceful but highly active, they look truly impressive when kept in a good-sized shoal.
These sociable fish should be kept in groups of at least six, although a larger shoal will produce more natural behaviour and an incredible display. They thrive in a spacious, well-filtered aquarium with plenty of open swimming room and high oxygen levels.
