Lemon Blue Eye Pleco (Ancistrus sp.) – Tank Bred
The Lemon Blue Eye Pleco is a beautiful and unusual colour variety of bristlenose pleco, prized for its vibrant lemon-yellow body and striking blue eyes. Peaceful, hardy and full of character, they are an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced aquarists looking for a colourful and useful addition to their aquarium.
Like other Ancistrus species, Lemon Blue Eye Plecos are excellent algae grazers, helping to keep the aquarium clean while also readily accepting a wide range of sinking foods. They thrive in peaceful community aquariums and are compatible with most non-aggressive fish, including tetras, rasboras, Corydoras and dwarf cichlids.
Our Lemon Blue Eye Plecos are healthy tank-bred fish, carefully raised to ensure they are well established before sale. Tank-bred fish are generally hardier, more adaptable to aquarium life and make excellent long-term additions to the home aquarium.
